The Met is an amazing museum! With a very limited time to voyage part-way through this vast place I barely scratched the surface of what it has to offer. Next time I am in town I will set a few days aside just for this location.
Majority of the photos taken were of statues but the MET has sooooooooooooo much more to offer. (it does really deserve the extra O’s.) The sculptures were often my subjects photographed because I enjoy showing my own perspective in my images.
The egyptian exhibit is breathtaking with large structures within a well designed hall. This room alone was worth the visit.
The MET also has a interesting sculpture garden which is well worth a long stop.
No matter what your taste is in art the MET has something for you.
If you are new to my blog and interested in history you will enjoy “the Henry Ford” images which can be found in the top “PHOTO” scroll down section. The Henry Ford is the personal collection of Henry Ford in which he collected not just large historic trains, planes, and automobiles but also whole houses and factories of people who made our world to what it is today.
