During my visit to University of Michigan Matthaei botanical garden in Ann Arbor michigan I walked around the hiking trails and captured a few photos of local animals. Majority of the animals photos are baby geese.
I love photographing animals. You never know what will happen and what types of photos you will end up with. My main advice is make sure you have a telephoto lens and a solid understanding of animal behavior. The parents of these baby geese are extremely protective of them. If you get to close they will hiss and very likely attack you if you don’t do the right things. I plan on writing a detailed blog soon about how to photograph animals in different situations.
If you haven’t seen it yet the post before this has 40 images of some beautiful flowers and plants from this same trip. I dabbled a little into macro photography with some new extension tubes.
